<Field: Warehouse> <Field Type: Neutral>
In a small ghetto of Seattle is a run-down warehouse. The location was shady to begin with, but since the attack of Seuss, things just got worse. Inside is a labyrinth of rooms filled with who-knows-what and stairs that lead who-knows where, and the building has connections to numerous others. It was said that this place used to house illegal activities, and the layout doesn't help the rumors.

{Walk In}
The door creaked as he opened it, allowing light to flood into the room. Alec set down a lightweight box he'd been carrying near the door and searched for a light switch, which he promptly found. A small whirring sound came from the switch, and then the light to the room suddenly came on. He wondered why it took so long, and figured that perhaps the switch turned other things on as well. After all, this place was supposedly a gang hideout at one point.
He moved his box to a more convenient spot and sat down on one of the many crates that clustered the room. "It shouldn't be too long until people start arriving... It's the third day."
But for now, he had to twiddle his thumbs and wait.

{Walks in}
Kovu looks at the worn down factory, grimacing a little at the condition of the place. It had a feel of darkness to it; years of graffiti, abuse, and an overall cold, gray look to just about everything didn't help that image much. Sighing a bit, he slowly approached the door. Before opening it, he dug into his pocket, closing his eyes as he rubbed something from within. he nods, as if confirming something, and slowly proceeds.
He see the lights have already been turned on, and someone waiting nearby. He had only just received this invitation not too long after joining the resistance. He didn't know much about the organization, but his my fair share of troubles with Seuss and his dark ways. Not helping didn't seem like an option.
With a half smile, he looks around the place as he walk over to the only other person in the room. Approaching him, he pulls out the invitation that was sent, and held it out...
"Are you Alec?"
There was a quite disturbance in him... Something about this place.. affected him, though he tried not to show it...

It was a stroke of luck that Alex had managed to get to a computer and discover the meeting. He had been wandering through a desolate area of Arizona, which had been almost completely depopulated, looking for nothing, and enjoying the silence. He had gotten bored after a while, and turned north. In Utah, where there were scattered, primitive settlements, Alex had found a working computer.
Reluctantly forgoing the pleasures of travel, Alex used his TeleDisc to transport him further north, to Oregon. He was almost a week's walk from Seattle, but there were plenty of abandoned cars with half-filled gas tanks, and he managed to reach the coordinates of the meeting with time to spare.
Alex evaluated the building from across the street. It didn't look like it was about to collapse, and there were no visible signs of habitation.
It could be a trap, I suppose. But it's not like I have anything to lose. Or anything better to do...
~Alex walks in~
Alex saw only one other person in the room, but quickly looked around and saw that any number of people could be hiding in adjacent rooms. He cautiously walked up to the boy sitting on the crate. For some reason, he completely missed seeing Kovu.
"Who are you?" he said to Alec. *** ~Rhynan crashes onto the roof~
He had been flying for hours, and he was dead tired. Rhynan looked much the worse for wear since Yannick had seen him. Rhynan's face was sunken, there were dark circles around his eyes, and his clothes were tattered and torn. Little remained of him except a strange rage- almost a deathwish. Too tired to fly off the building, he crawled to a broken skylight, fell through, and landed in a pile of garbage- old boxes, plastic bags, that sort of thing.
He closed his eyes and wondered what the hell he was doing. *** James had decided to go with Yannick all the way to his home in Seattle, and then make his own way to Canada. A day away from Yannick's home, however, they were ambushed by a gang of highwaymen-esque robbers. The two men made short work of them, but James found a strange note on one of the bodies. It was a dirty printout:
Curious, James decided to go to the coordinates. If a true resistance was created, his explorations for knowledge would most likely be useful.
~arrives a block away~
Instead of going directly into the building, James set himself up on a rooftop a block away, hidden in shadow. He intended to observe all those that entered in order to make sure that it was not a trap. He missed Alec's and Rhynan's entrance, but saw Alex and Kovu walk in.
innocuous enough.
He settled in, and waited.

It had been playing on his mind for several days, but Yannick finally caved to the curiousity of the note he and James had discovered and set off to the location described. He wasn't sure what he had to gain from doing this, but a tiny shred of his mind told him it was because he was hoping to meet up with James again. He'd somehow become strangely attached to the odd-ball during their travels.
"~sigh~"
It wasn't too far a journey to the meeting point, but still, the Alice Hand was glad to have finally arrived at the warehouse. Carefully slipping open the shutter door he looked about, but most of the place seemed abandonned. Crates were stacked high and eerie shadows cast themselves across the wall, Yannick would have been lying had he denied the fact he was scared. Creeping through the isles of stuff he barely breathed until he heard something clatter behind him. Jumping out of his skin he turned round and threw a punch vaguely in the direction of his perceived danger, but quickly he was scooped up and slammed against a wall.
"Ah!"
??: "..."
"Wh-who are you?"
He asked as he was pinned, finally making eye contact with his attacker. Deep chocolate brown eyes surrounded by mocha skin, a hint of mystery and the cutest punky hair-style he'd ever seen! It was love at first sight.
??: "I take it you're here for the meeting too?"
The words were sweet, yet flippant as they tumbled from a delicate mouth. Yannick was so distracted by his handsome asailant that it took him a moment to realise the stranger no longer held him firm.
"Err...yeah. Yannick"
??: "Niran"
Turning away the Thai boy ignored the outstreched hand and wandered away from the emo who had been eyeing him a little too much.
Ni: "The others must be waiting elsewhere"
And with that, he sauntered off, Yannick quickly following after him like a little lost puppy.

Kovu watches silently, not making any real effort to to be made known as this new comer walks past him, unnoticed. He was rather used to being ignored... even shunned. What was one more person to add to his list anyways? He sighed a little, and looked away, not really seeming to care much for this Alex, hoping to get to talk one-on-one with Alec later.
Wondering around, he leans up against a wall, and slowly closes his eyes, waiting for others to show up. A loud crash is heard off in the distance. With a sigh, Kovu looks up to see that someone had.. crash landed into a pile of boxes from above. He looks up, seeing the skylight from above. He scoffs a little, then closes his eyes again, reaching into his pocket once more, keeping it there as his fingers visibly rub something from inside...
Every moment here seemed to be bothering him. A quite agitation slowly building up within him... but, his nature prevented him from expressing anything, to anyone.
He watched silently as a few more entered.. though making no real effort to greet them right now...

{Walk In: Tristan and Trevor}
The two boys walked in together, even though they had no knowledge of who each other were. They just happened to come at the same time from opposite directions. Even more so, they barely acknowledged one another; Tristan was more on the quiet side, and Trevor was mostly interested in girls.
Upon entering, Trevor was incredibly upset that there wasn't a single girl inside. Sure, there were pretty boys that got his hopes up for a split second, but it just made the disappointment all the worse. Damn... That was half the reason I came here. No hot chicks... Bah. He didn't let his disappointment show; he had to keep up appearances in public.
Tristan simply leaned against a wall, taking note of all the people there. He didn't say anything yet; for now, he felt like observing.
----
Alec nodded at both Kovu and Alex's questions, smiling in response. "Yup. So, I guess you could say that I'm the leader here."
He looked around in approval at the turn out of arriving people. They had made pretty good time. It'd be nice if there were more people, but he wasn't expecting a mob. There's still more time, though... More people may still come.

Alex turned, startled. He had been completely unaware of Kovu until the man had sighed.
"I-I'm sorry," he said quietly. "I didn't see you."
Alex walked a few steps away, so that he was an equal distance from the two boys who had walked in the door and Alec and Kovu.
"I'm Alex."
He fiddled uncomfortably with the long wand he carried in a belt loop.
"What exactly are we going to do?"
***
Rhynan didn't move. Perhaps somebody would come and talk to him, but he was perfectly fine if they didn't. All Rhynan wanted was to fight, to take out his aggression and guilt on his enemies.
***
James saw two more boys walk into the warehouse.
All male so far...I hope this won't be the same as the last time I interacted with so many males...
James sighed quietly and stepped out of the shadows. He easily jumped the ten feet or so from the roof of the building to the ground- traveling cross-country had vastly improved his athletic ability- and walked slowly into the warehouse, leaning on his staff a bit.
James quickly noticed all of the individuals he had seen walking into the warehouse, with the addition of Alec. James knew Alec from the chapel in New York, of course. James gave a nod in the general direction of everyone else and spoke to Alec.
"So this is where you went- not very far from where Yannick and I had planned to go, after all. I hope you are well. I assume, since you must have arrived before these others, that you sent the invitation?"
James noticed that the others seemed to be forming a rough circle, and purposefully put himself outside of it.

(Hey, just to let you know that since I'm merging Niran's and Yannick's post together to make things appear less disjointed, I'm going to give them two separate speaking colours so you can tell who's talking. Niran will continue to talk in white and Yannick will talk in pink)
Yannick had been nigh on stalking the Asian youth for about five minutes when finally, the subtle sound of voices invaded the air. It seemed that Niran had picked up on it too, his body language changing to accommodate his curiosity. Without saying a word the pair made for the source. It only took a minute or two but something strange sparked Niran's interest and he ushered Yannick through the door before going to inspect what to the Finnish boy, looked like nothing more than a pile of garbage bags.
Entering the space slowly, quite a few faces came into view as the door pushed open easily. Inside was a plethora of handsome young men. The Alice Hand's face must have lit up like that of a kid at Christmas. He couldn't believe his luck. Scanning the room he took in each face, noticing Alec, (the hot one from the church) he smiled, then nodded politely in his direction.
"Hey, not too late, am I?"
It was then that somewhere just out of the little group, blending into the background he spotted him. His heart practically leapt into his mouth.
"James!"
The glee was obvious and the Finnish boy walked passed the others and headed straight for his deranged traveling companion.
"I'm so glad you came..."
The eagerness in his voice was obvious and the happy smile on his face only helped illustrate his joy. Normally, he would have moved in for a hug, but knowing how James hated physical interaction he managed to stop himself and instead stood awkwardly on the spot, waiting for some kind of confirmation from the Russian.
~Meanwhile~
Niran approached the garbage bags, carefully inspecting the foot that poked out. Was there a dead body here? Cautiously, he kicked the foot with his own and upon hearing a small shuffle he moved closer, peering over the body interestedly.
"..."
The face of a downtrodden youth stared back up at him. Dark, dead eyes, pale skinned and gaunt. Too much travel and not enough food was the likely cause, but something about him seemed haunted, the tattered clothing only adding to the effect.
"Are you hurt?"
The fighter asked bluntly. More out of courtesy than any real concern.
"Come on. Get up."
Outstretching his hand he let out a sigh and tried to remind himself that he was doing this for Travis' sake.

Kovu watched from afar as more and more people arived, shifting from one foot to the otherr as he continued to keep himself away from the froup. But at long last, when he noticed things might be coming to a head fairly soon, he decided it'd be best to join in. With a low sigh, he slowly made his way to the group, catiosuly look at each who had arived, then again at Alex. He had hear him apologise before walking off, but really didn't pay much to it. But with a nod and half smile, he suddenly spoke up, his voice calm, deep, with an heir of smooth warmth.
"Hey, about earlier, it's alright." He slowly looks around then back at Alex. "This place just doesn't exactly put me in the right mood." He paused for a moment, feeling a bit awkward, not exactly knowing what to say next. then, with a shrug, he half extended his hand. "I'm Kovu."
He never made much of a habit of introducing himself.. but decided it best. He honestly didn't want to start any quarrels so early in this meeting.
After the formalities, Kovu waited somewhat impatiently, always returning one hand to is pocket, and eying each person in the room individually. But for some reason... the young, black hair young man in the back, seeming to avoid the other, kept catching his attention. His heart pounded a little within his chest. He wasn't enjoying himself much.

Alex nodded acceptance of what Kovu said and knelt where he stood. He assumed Alec was waiting to see if any more people would arrive, and the teenager passed the time by drawing runes in the dust-covered floor- nothing truly magical, just twisting, convoluted shapes. He thus mostly missed the arrival of Yannick and Niran, absorbed as he was.
***
Rhynan stared at the annoyingly cheerful face (as compared to his own disposition) that was bothering him. He snarled at the boy, just to see how the other would react. Rhynan was too bone-weary to be friendly.
***
James smiled when he saw Yannick. It was a small smile, as they go, but it showed the emotional changes in James. The Enthraller noticed Ni's arrival, but ignored both he and the body in the trash heap, as they seemed relatively unthreatening.
"I am glad to see you as well," he told Yannick dryly. "I thought you would be curious enough to come."
A thought came to James, and he spoke to Alec. "If you would like, it is dark enough here that I could conceal this building from prying eyes. Whenever you are ready to begin I can hide us, unless you wish to leave us exposed in case others wish to join us."

(Niran? Cheerful?? The guys more angst than a bag full of emos XD)
Unimpressed by the response and with little patience for the stranger, the Asian youth retracted his hand and let it fall limply by his side. For a moment he peered at the corpse like boy before absently wafting his hand, showing very little of anything other than agitation.
"Suit yourself."
And with that he idly took up a pew on one of the nearby crates that was lying dusty on the floor. It creaked at first, but had no difficulty in holding Ni's slender frame.
Momentarily, Yannick was distracted by the little scene between the body in the garbage bags and the stranger he'd entered with, but it didn't take long for his gaze to revert back to James and Alec.
"It's good to see you too Alec"
It had only been a short time since they'd left each other and part of him wondered why he hadn't traveled with them, but it didn't matter now.
"~Content sigh~"
It was then that something niggled at the back of his mind, like a spark of realisation. Turning quickly, the Finnish male stared at the lump of flesh in the bags and walked away whilst James and Alec were still in mid flow of conversation. Approaching the bags he peered over and the face that greeted him was enough to make his blood run cold. A face so familiar, yet now so distant...
"Rhynan?"
Yannick asked, barely above a whisper but loud enough for the nearby Niran to hear, who pricked up his ears with mild interest. Bending down, Yannick reached forward and tenderly stroked some of the hairs from youth's eyes. He was certain it was him; it had to be.
"...?"

Alex doodled.
***
Rhynan had started to rise, but froze when he heard Yannick's voice. He shook his head, and stood up all the way. His tattered body looked more like one of James' summons than the teenager he was, and Rhynan knew how awful he looked.
He just didn't care.
Rhynan moved away from Yannick's touch without much of a reaction after his initial pause. He looked at the Finnish boy, then at the others.
"What? I'll kill his minions for you. That's all you want...all you need, at least." His voice was harsh.
Turning back to Yannick, Rhynan stared at him for a long moment.
"I'm sorry. I was an idiot."
***
James watched the strange encounter with curiosity, a spell prepared in his mind...just in case.

How was Yannick supposed to respond to this? Rhynan looked like shit, and that was being polite. His memory thought back to the time they first met, how healthy and energetic he'd been, was this deterioration due to the death of his lover? Or some other horrible torment that plagued him?
"..."
For a moment he stood there, phased by the situation, his mind trying to tell him what to do. The boy before him was not the boy he had made love to, that was for sure.
"Are you hurt? Maybe you should come back to my house and get some rest. You're in no fit state to be fighting anything."
Concern twinged his voice and his brow furrowed as he looekd the youth over. What had decimated him so? Worriedly, Yannick reached a hand out and carefully grasped the other boy's freezing cold hand. This was probably the most sentimental anybody was going to see the Finnish boy in an awful long time.

Rhynan pulled his hand away from Yannick's roughly.
"I said I'm sorry. You don't have to baby me. I want to fight."
The bedraggled teenager looked around at the motley array of youths and young adults.
"Who's in charge? What the hell are we doing?"
no, what the hell are you doing? Rhynan's brain seemed stuck on that point.
